A role with Target Data Science & Engineering means the chance to help develop and manage state of the art predictive algorithms that use data at scale to automate and optimize decisions at scale. Position Overview
Target Data Sciences is offering an exciting opportunity to solve state of the art problems in retail. The opportunity will allow you to work on models using transactional behaviour and develop, deploy and maintain algorithms to improve customer experience. In this role, you will have access to the best tech stack in retail along with working with a set of passionate co-workers committed to creating next gen AdTech capabilities. You can expect to be involved in:
Brainstorming and co-developing solutions on ad relevancy, real time campaign optimization and generating optimized campaign plan
Deploying highly scalable and low latency models and interfacing/ publishing model outputs to various applications
Creating a best-in-class reusable framework for model logging and monitoring
Deploying algorithms and solutions in open-source platform
Working with a talented team of marketeers and collaborating with scientists and engineers
Example Problem Statements:
Determine a set of optimal tactics to create media plan and manage inflight campaign performance?
Given digital ad variations how do we optimize ad impressions?
How do we set prices for digital product ad slots to achieve higher revenue?
How to systematically scale and automate models impacting millions of guests?
About You
Computer Science graduates from reputed engineering institutes with 3+ years of experience
PhD with relevant experience of 1+ years
Ability to use frameworks and tools to deploy and monitor models
Ability to write modular code and data pipelines which can be automated and scaled
Great communication skills and experience in working with clients
Good programming skills in Python/ java based languages
Knowledge of engineering best practices, data manipulation and retrieval and integration patterns between systems (like API)
Ability to work with a team(s) to drive the work in a collaborative environment
