A role with Target in India Marketing (Roundel Creative) is an opportunity to work with some of the best in the business for marketing, creative strategy, media & digital and you’d lead work that connects to millions of guests. Your influence will drive sales and grow brand love through work that’s guest-centric, on brand, category relevant and channel focused. The Roundel Creative team is a group of experts fluent in Target’s creative vision, brand standards, and guest experience. Our capabilities span copywriting, content creation, art direction, design, motion graphics, and production. As Roundel’s creative hub, we craft strategic, insight-driven work that reflects cultural trends and inspires guests to engage with the brands they love. 

Roles and responsibilities:

As a Sr. Art Director Digital you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Create and produce marketing content that helps us engage in a dialogue with Target’s audience, internal and external

  • Be a thought and execution leader in your area of expertise and have the ability to closely work with and drive the team towards superior creative execution

  • Directly manage development of the creative, from concept to execution by being able to understand the business context and applying design skills to solve the specific Marketing communication goals

  • Identify, research, analyze and manage risks and interdependencies within projects/systems changes and formulate appropriate plans

  • Be a go-getter who should be able to operate independently without the need of too much guidance

  • Take the initiative to lead and assist with special projects which could either be self-identified or assigned

  • Demonstrate your experience in digital best practices, design tools, and software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, to enhance productivity and scale in your work

  • Assist in solving challenges & delivering innovative new experiences with internal & external partners

  • Link the gap between technology and design by providing technical guidance during the process of design

About you:

  • 4-year college degree in design or equivalent educational qualification

  • 7+ years total experience, with 4+ years in an art director role

  • Experience with a large marketing / advertising firm or directly with a corporation

  • Exposure to multichannel marketing creative

  • A strong creative portfolio demonstrating Target brand expectations

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

  • Possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate thought leadership

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, with an innovation driven mindset

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail
