As an engineer, you serve as a technical specialist delivering the engineering that powers the product. You develop keen insight into the technical architecture and design to deliver robust and scalable software components. You constantly demonstrate the depth of your expertise by solving engineering problems. Use your technology acumen to provide input to assist with evaluation of new technologies and contribute to the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of services. Contribute to research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies and assist with code review and design review, writes, organizes and maintains code based on designs. With guidance, delivers high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables. Participate in structured construction, automation, debugging, and implementation activities, ensuring architectural and operational requirements and best practices are met. Participate in disaster recovery planning and disaster recovery activities and participate in functional integration and regression testing and ability to automate test scripts. Resolve frequently encountered technical issues and monitors systems capacity with minimal assistance. Search and understand metadata about various data sources and metrics. Adhere to change and incident management standards and expectations.

• For candidates with 2+ years of experience, they should ideally possess most of the listed skills.
• For candidates with less than 2 years of experience, it’s not necessary to have all the skills, but they should demonstrate proficiency in the majority of them.

·  Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and scheduled jobs.

·  Work with Spring Boot, Python, SQL, Kafka, Kotlin, Scala and Apache Spark.

·  Develop robust and scalable software components, contributing to product architecture and design.

·  Quickly write and optimize complex SQL queries and manage diverse data sources.

·  Demonstrate passion for software quality, balancing speed of delivery with robustness and reliability.

·  Handle operational issues independently and actively participate in code reviews to ensure functional accuracy.

·  Contribute to proof-of-concepts, technology evaluations and design reviews for new initiatives.

·  Participate in automation, debugging, disaster recovery planning and testing to maintain system resilience.

·  Bring adaptability, curiosity, and bold problem-solving to the team.

·  Have exposure to the retail domain; knowledge of ML/Data Science is a plus.
