As an Associate Category Manager for Target+, you will be responsible for planning & leading the business goals by driving merchandising, and marketing strategies to deliver GMV & profit goals, grow market share and guest satisfaction for your category.
Category Account Management:
Partner Planning & Development: Deliver annual sales growth and gain market shares for assigned categories and partners through strategic planning tactics like assortment expansion, pricing intelligence, promotions planning, and services investment.
Seller Support: Manage relationships with Tier 3&4 vendor partners and ensure alignment with business objectives through strategic planning and customized tactics.
Assortment Curation & Optimization:Maintain a curated experience by driving the Assortment Health effort on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
Global Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate locally and globally across teams and Work closely with Merchandising, Item, and Operations teams to drive Sales, Profit from assigned partners.
About you: 3/4year degree, B.S., B.A., B.Com, B.B.A.; Advanced Degree/ MBA Preferred
3+ years of experience in Key account management, Vendor Management, merchandising operations or inventory management, product strategy
2+ years supporting an ecommerce business, with specific experience related to marketing,
Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with vendor partners, and across internal cross-functional departments. Develops Business Operations, Enhance Selling and Category Development.
Strong analytical, influential and storytelling skills to build relationships with internal and external partners.
