Team overview

Measurement is integral to our Retail Media business and help propel Roundel as a differentiated leader in the advertising industry. Measurement product teams are responsible to build certified data sets, partner with measurement strategy and data sciences to co-create the measurement methodology and models. Driving performance through closed loop and lift models and provided self-service API’s, reporting and visualization services to internal and external stakeholders.

Role overview

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will work closely with Roundel’s Product leadership and key stakeholders to define the overall strategic vision for your product and build teams, are accountable for the creation and execution of the product roadmap that will deliver against identified business outcomes and metrics (OKRs), articulate the short- and long-term product goals and align with key build partners and business stakeholders.

This role has a strong external looking facet where in you will be required to identify emerging trends within the RMN (Retail Media Network) measurement space, be up-to-date on competitor offerings, propose meaningful partnership opportunities, anticipate impact of changes within the broader adtech space to your products and build it within the delivery roadmap.

You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties. You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.

This role requires working closely with Data Science and Engineering teams within Target and with our external partners. You will be required to clearly articulate the product expectations to DS problems and provide functional and domain guidance to ensure that the output is of the required quality and format as is needed by Target’s advertisers. You will also be required to be comfortable with making build versus buy recommendations based on an objective rules based framework.

You will oversee progress against product backlogs to ensure work and priorities are in line with the product strategy while prioritizing themes, epics, and stories, to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the product strategy.

About you

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of Product management experience or equivalent domain experience

  • Experience to working in Measurement or data science heavy products

  • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams

  • Previous experiences managing 3rd party partners and co-building products by providing thought leadership

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionally

  • Expert at working in the agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)

  • Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomes

  • Ability to influence teams without direct authority while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teams

  • Respects, appreciates, and values diverse voices and approaches and committed to creating equitable experiences and fostering an inclusive team
